01/20/07**Well 'Happy New Year'!!!!  WOW time sure did fly right by Thanksgiving and Christmas came and went and here we are at the start of a new year.  The weather here started off more like spring, but, the cold is now moving in and it actually feels like winter.  Saw the ole hawk over at the neighbors house across the street.  Found out a MaMa fox and her babies are under the back porch.  Would be nice to have the hawk stay around this year.  Helps with the peaches saga   McCoy was a gas on Christmas eve. I swear if I didn't know better I'd think there was a human 2 year old in there.  He whined and cried to open his bag of Christmas goodies   I've been doing my annual new year clutter cleaning, going pretty well I must say and of course I've started the new year with yet the same promise to get in shape......again!!!   Click over to the Photo Gallery and view our 'Christmas 2006' album.

02/10/07**No major snowfall yet but the temperatures, at times, have been below zero Poor Mike, being in construction, has to work out in it. Pauxatauny Phil says Spring will come early this year. Glad to hear THAT   McCoy will be 2 years old in 10 days. I see no signs of calming down. I think I've been lied too   I've lost 4.5 lbs., more would be nice, but that's better then gaining 4.5 lbs. so I guess that new year promise is moving in the right direction.  Clutter cleaning is still movin' on.  No corner is getting missed!!!  Even finally put some photos in the album. Only been wanting to do that for like the last 2-3 years

02/14/07**HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!  Ok in 4 short days the weather sure has changed.  We got snow that started at least 6 hours before it was supposed to yesterday. The snow then turned to sleet...then rain...then icy rain.

04/01/07**Spring is finally here   Flowers are poppin' out of the ground, I've seen more then one robin red breast, temps are movin up and NO snow in days.  McCoy loves being outside now that the weather is nice.  Sometimes we actually have to go out and get him to make him come in the house.  Those of you with children I'm sure have the same issue  We'll be setting up the Tikki Lounge again.  It's our own brand of the tropics   I'll add a pic when it's ready.  If you've been here before you can see I've even done some Spring sprucin' on the site also.  I've been teaching myself all kinds of stuff, with help from Jim and Dan. So.....it's April Fool's day, my Mom tried to get me this morning with telling me and my sister, for the first time ever, it was snowing in Florida my poor sis, she fell right into her trap   She says she heard there were fires down there and she was concerned since fire does expel white ash   I didn't have the heart to tell her, that was in St. Petersburg and Mom and Ted are far from St. Petersburg    Oh yeah, almost forgot to tell ye, about 2 weeks ago McCoy hurt his tail.  To make a long story short, he was crated and his big buddy, PopPop next door, was making loud noises and he was nosy...got his tail stuck in the crate I really thought it was broken, it just hung there.  SO, off to the vet, $74.00 and something for inflammation and the next day he's jumping around and barking like normal....I LOVE that quick healer

04/22/07**WOW what a GREAT weekend!!!  The temps were in the 70/80's, even had a nice breeze.  Got a bit of the seasons first kiss of the sun on my face.  Mike and I decided to try to stop McCoy's running path around the deck.  Take a peek at our 'A nice weekend in April 2007' album over at the Photo Gallery.

07/24/07**It's been awhile, aye?  Life has been busy and as you can see our site has changed yet again   I don't know if I'll ever be happy with a layout We've had some great weather, even though at times the humidity was HORRIBLE.  Poor Mike, on those days he would just drag himself home lookin' like a used dish rag.  No peaches this year, so we won't even go there.  I'll have to move my herbs down a bit further on the fence in '08, hope this will be the spot they find comfortable.  The tomatoes are doing well, we even planted a white tomatoe.  Never heard of it before...I'll let ye know how it tastes.  My Daddy passed away May 16th.  I'm still dealing with that.  Life is a funny thing, I don't think we ever get it all... no matter how we try.  I miss him more then I thought and life has taken yet another turn for me.  I guess the days never stop teaching.  Ted (Dad2)gave us a scare just the other day.  He had a heart attack several years ago and Thursday night was in the ER with chest discomfort.  A blockage but to the hospital in time.  Thanks Mom!!!  He's all fixed and home resting and ready to go to AC next week.  McCoy hasn't hurt anything since the last 'tail' ordeal...let's knock on woodWe're having a block party with the neighbors in August.  The Tiki Lounge WILL be ready & open for business   you know there'll be pics.  My Nanny turned 90 years young on he 11th, isn't that awesome!!!.  AND.....my sister, Deb is having a milestone birthday tomorrow sssoooooooo......

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB...HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEB

I Thank God every day that you're MY sister!!!  I LOVE YOU!!! And see I didn't even say what the milestone was...I know how to behave workin' for my spot in heaven

07/27/07**OK...so I looked up 'white tomatoes'.   They range from a very pale yellow to what I would actually call a 'yellow tomatoe'.  Any who, we picked our first one the other night and as promised here's a PIC of what they look like.   They taste pretty much like a regular tomatoe, a bit different, maybe it is the acid thing that people talk about.  If ye get a chance, and ye like tomatoes, give one a try...let me know what you think.

09/23/07**Man this summer went fast!!!  I guess it is true...the older you get the faster the times goes   As you've already read this is my favorite season and I've already gotten my Autumn decorations out and ready to be displayed. Bought a few nice pumpkins at the grocery store today. Believe it or not they had an awesome price.  Got some really pretty Mums from a local merchant on Saturday, I think we'll be going back for more to purty up the front of the house.  I finally got the photos together from our party in August...take a peek at our 'Celebrating August 2007' album over in the Photo Gallery.

11/25/07** Sorry I missed you all with my Halloween theme but had some trouble with my provider and if you're reading this you know that our site has grown up and now has it's own domain name   You will still be able to find our old site at our old addie since I can't even disable those pages, but it will never update from what you see...OK...I'm not gonna go into the story cause it just angers me and I'm tired of being angry about it so I've moved on and we now have a WWW dot of our own Thanksgiving was nice.  A bit different this year, Mom and Ted decided to stay in Florida and Nanny had Thanksgiving with my Aunt.  Mike, Deb, Susan and I had a great time.  I must say, it being the first time Mike and I hosted Thanksgiving, all dishes turned out good and the turkey was nice and moist   Since it was our first time Mike wanted to get a fresh turkey.  Can't say I noticed any taste difference but it made him happy We also hooked up Mike's Christmas present early, a new TV  You know TV's now may be easier to lift but hooking them up is a whole lot more then just plugging them in I'm just about done with my Christmas shopping and today spent most of the day decorating around the house.  McCoy was dressed as a pirate for Halloween....not a happy one either   Take a look at him in the Photo Gallery It's torture for him but fun for me

12/22/07** Almost Christmas...I Love Christmas!!!  Still have wrapping to do and finish up decorating the tree.  I know...I know those of you who know me best can't believe the tree isn't done yet   McCoy has already discovered where Santa has hidden some of his pressies.  That nose of his really CAN smell 5000 x's better   Some are in the linen closet in the hallway, he'll get a wiff, and will sit there for hours by the door hoping someone will take mercy on him and give him something...OK I'm the push over and have but it's only fair since Mike's gift of a new TV has been hooked up since Thanksgiving and my gift a new computer that  I'll be hooking it up soon and attempting to transfer files.  It's gotten colder here but no snow yet...YAY!!!  I'm just not ready for that crap yet

12/31/07** Happy New Years Eve everyone. Guess I'll be putting the cyber Christmas decorations away for another year soon.  Christmas was wonderful and the time off work was just what the doctor ordered, although I would like another dose   As soon as I copy over my files I'll be publishing from my new puter and zipping through cyber world  Sent a package to Jim and Nancy over in Scotland and I think it's stuck some where cause they still haven't received it.  Customs....they better not eat it   Took Mom and Ted to the airport this morning...it's back to Florida they go!!!  Oh yeah...I've started that annual clutter cleaning again it really is endless   Well, I'm off to celebrate, reflect and enjoy the remaining hours of 2007 so....
